The responsibilities of the Officers are to promote the social aspects of the Department, as well as assist the Melrose Fire District in its firematic duties. Company meetings are the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm.

Whether you want to volunteer, receive training, or support our initiatives, there are many ways to get involved with The Melrose Fire Company. Together, we can make a difference in fire safety and community resilience. All Firematic members must be Company members.
To apply for membership: Click 'Get Involved' Fill out and print the application and background check form and bring it to a company meeting or District Drill night. Blank applications are available at the station.
Company Meetings: first Wednesday of each month at 7pm. Excluding July and August.
District Drills: Every Thursday at 7pm, members may not be present at the firehouse on every drill night. We do go out to mutual aid departments for drills occasionally.
